Pre-booking

We are happy to chat to you on the phone, or by email, and give you a full quote for your wedding. We will need to know the date of your wedding, which parts of the day you would like to book us for, and your venue.

At this point we leave you to decide if you want to book us or not. We prefer to leave you to do this on your own so we won’t contact you during this time. If you are worried about loosing your date during this period just ask us to pencil in your details, with no obligation to book, and then if any other enquiries come in for your date we will call you back first.

You can listen to us play on this website, and keep an eye on latest news for any live performances.

Booking

If you decide to book Sa Masia for your wedding we will send you out two contracts, one of which you return to us with a 10% deposit. This will secure your date. If we are playing for your Ceremony we will then start discussing the music you would like. You should think about the following:

  • Bride's Entrance
  • Signing
  • Bride and Groom's Exit
  • Hymns (if required)

We have experience of playing at all sorts of ceremonies, including religious, civil and humanist so we are happy to give you advice about the different musical requirements for your ceremony.

Arrangements

If you would like a particular piece of music, and we don't have it, there are two options you can look into. If an arrangement already exists for String Quartet (see our Links Page for suppliers of Quartet Music) you can buy this and send it to us. If not, we can have almost anything arranged for your wedding day from £40 upwards by a professional composer/arranger. Let us know if you are interested in finding out more about this service.

Final Payment

We prefer to receive your final payment by cheque a month before your wedding so that none of us have to worry about that on the day. However, it is also possible to pay in cash on the day.

On the Day

We will do everything we can to make sure your day runs smoothly and as you would like it. We will be as flexible as we can but you should note that it is not always possible for us to play outside. If you would like us to consider this, please chat to us before your wedding day. All we need from your venue is four chairs (without arms) and soft drinks if we are playing for your Drinks Reception or Meal.
